Finding Sources
Recommended databases:Use the password "fenway" to access databases.
- Gale in Context Science
- This database is your go-to! There will be information on all sorts of different topics in AP Bio and beyond!
- Gale Interactive Science
- Look here for 3D models and other deep-dives into different scientific concepts and ideas.
- Encyclopedia Britannica
- This database is great for finding basic information about topics in biology.
- Gale in Context Environmental Science
- This database is great for learning about the human impact on our world and other Environmental topics.
eBooks:
- Sora (search for Boston Arts Academy, your login is your bostonK12 email).

Creating Citations
- All articles in the recommended databases will create the citation for you. Look at the bottom of the article for the "MLA Citation".
- KnightCite will create citations for you if you look up the title of a book or article. HOWEVER, you should always double check if the citation is complete.

Make sure you create your citations in MLA style!
Determining Reliability
Use the CRAAP test to decide if a source from Google is reliable:
- Currency
- Relevancy
- Accuracy
- Authority
- Purpose
