Check Out the Amazing Performances by BAA Students!

Spring at BAA means performances and exhibitions of your amazing work! The vocal department and others have been in front of the camera all over the place in the last few weeks, and here are a few of their amazing videos!


The first video is the Springfest Concert dedicated to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin! Thank you to Danny Rivera for making the video accessible. 


Next, you can see Danny Rivera and Fashion Senior Sarada Murrett-Kam featured in a video about BAA and the arts education we strive for at our school!

The third series of video is the BAA Spirituals performance on Sing That Thing! They performed on Episode 2 and the Finale Episode of season 5 which took place this year!

. You can also check out the BAA performances from season 1 in 2015. That group were featured on episode 4 and the finale in episode 6!

The library has emailed every student what books, movies, audiobooks, or equipment they need to bring back by their last day of school. This means you need to bring things back by 6/14/19!

Determining Reliability

Use the CRAAP test to decide if a source is reliable:
  • Currency
  • Relevancy
  • Accuracy
  • Authority
  • Purpose

Creating Citations

  • All articles in the recommended databases will create the citation for you. Look at the right hand side of the article for "Citation Tools"
  • Purdue OWL explains how to create citations for all kinds of sources
  • KnightCite will create citations for you if you look up the title of a book or article.  HOWEVER, you should always double check if the citation is complete.
Make sure you create your citations in MLA style!

The library is open and able to help with research, writing, and proofreading your essay! We have tutors available 3:00-4:30 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays. You can also always ask Ms. Marz or any member of the library team for help and we will be there for you.
