Welcome Back to New Books

Welcome back everyone! We hope everyone had a relaxing break!

To start the new year off right, the library has a BUNCH of new books, including many new short mysteries and adventure books, such as Seven the Series and The Big Bet.

Seven the Series: READ ONE. READ THEM ALL. YOU CHOOSE THE ORDER

The Big BetMeet Jason Jorgensen, the cleverest and most handsome student at Van Buren High — according to him, anyway. But Jason’s unique among high school students in that his club is a front for a group of scam artists, which Jason leads. Unbeknownst to most of the student body, they rule the school from the shadows.
Spurred on by a new addition to the team, Jason tackles his biggest con yet: rigging a local poker game. But this isn’t like their high school plots — this is real. And dangerous.
Jason and his friends might not make it out of this one alive.

Here's one of the Pageturners books:

Planet Doom: Reggie and Joanna can’t resist exploring the burned-out amusement park. Before the evening is over, they take some terrifying rides and meet an even scarier old man. They barely escape with their lives before they learn what bitter disappointment can do to a person’s sanity

Book of the Day: We Were Liars

Book of the day (and Ms D recommends):

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="168"] We Were Liars[/caption]

A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

Check it out today!

Note from Ms. D: Read it. And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.
